Interested in having a Boston Business Coaching facilitator present a DISC® training at your site? You’ve come to the right place. Our trainers have extensive experience in using DISC to improve communication, enhance team performance, improve customer service, reduce conflict and understand differences in each person’s behavioral styles.

If you prefer to teach DISC courses yourself we can help you get training and materials through our Learning Management (LMS) System.

The DISC Teambuilding Workshop helps teams improve their communications, cooperation, and effectiveness. DISC® is the leading personality assessment tool used by over 1 million people every year to improve work productivity, teamwork and communication. This teambuilding workshop uses the DISC behavioral style analysis to help individuals understand, appreciate, and work more effectively with different people’s different styles.

To learn more about the DISC, read our article:  What Is DISC?

The DISC Teambuilding Workshop helps people understand how to recognize each team member’s preferred style, and how to use their different styles to their mutual advantage.

Miscommunications get cleared up. Conflicts get productively addressed and resolved. And team members become more motivated.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Understand their personal behavioral style and how it affects the way they relate, communicate, motivate, and work with others.
  • Learn to listen more attentively to others.
  • Understand how their behavior may be perceived by others.
  • Recognize, understand, and appreciate other people’s behavioral styles.
  • Recognize other people’s behaviors and how to adapt to their needs.
  • Adapt their behavior to improve their interactions with their teammates—even with people they previously avoided or called “difficult.”
  • Appreciate people’s differences and use them as an asset, not a source of conflict.
  • Discover how to resolve conflicts in a positive way with both internal and external customers

This workshop involves people in a highly interactive process of self-discovery and insight.

People recognize themselves and others as the behavioral patterns are described. They Discover a way of talking about differences in a positive, non-judgmental way.

And they have fun with each other in the process.

Participants have the option of completing a brief online assessment prior to the event. They then receive a 20-plus page description of their personal behavioral style. (If they do not take the online assessment, they’ll still be able to Discover their own style in the workshop.)

During the DISC Teambuilding Workshop, participants will learn more about their own styles. They will recognize and explore ways they prefer to act, relate, work, socialize, and deal with change, as well as the ways they prefer to be approached, consulted, and involved in a group process.

Participants will then learn how to recognize other people’s styles, their strengths and limitations, and how to work more effectively with them.

By the end of the workshop participants will have a clearer understanding of how they can reduce conflict and miscommunication, build rapport and cooperation, work as a team more efficiently, cope with change more positively, and profit from working with people they used to avoid.
